Section titled “What are IAQG Authentication’s requirements regarding auditor actions and behavior?”All auditors recognized by IAQG Authentication must abide by the IAQG Authentication Code of Conduct. This policy includes obligations to behave ethically, comply with statutory/regulatory requirements, handle confidential information appropriately, avoid conflicts of interest, abide by license restrictions, report any known violations, and apply all requirements in a fair and unbiased manner.

How many audit days and hours of CPD are required each year to maintain ongoing authentication?

Once approved, when will ongoing authentication requirements take effect?
Section titled “Once approved, when will ongoing authentication requirements take effect?”The authentication year runs from 1 July of a given year to 30 June of the following year. For new auditors, applicable CPD and audit experience requirements will take effect starting in the July following their authentication. For example, if authenticated in February, CPD and audit experience requirements will begin in July of that calendar year. If authenticated in September, CPD and audit experience requirements will begin in July of the following calendar year.
For additional AQMS standards, such as 9110 or 9120, CPD requirements are shared/common to all standards. Audit experience requirements for the new standard will take effect beginning in the July following authentication, as explained above.
IAQG may impose other ongoing authentication requirements, such as training or examinations, and these will take effect as mandated. Annual Fees will be due on the anniversary of achieving authentication. Learn more about ongoing authentication.
How does IAQG Authentication use my personal information?
Section titled “How does IAQG Authentication use my personal information?”Application details will be used by IAQG Authentication to verify applicant’s experience, and may be shared with authorized IAQG personnel to support the Escalations and Appeals processes. In addition, relevant audit and work experience details will be shared with provided contacts to verify the applicant’s experience. Whether approved or rejected, IAQG Authentication will retain application records in accordance with our Data Retention Policy. Information will not be shared or sold to third-parties.
