Code of Conduct

One of the IAQG’s core values is operating with integrity.  We expect all participants within the IAQG Certification Scheme to conduct themselves in the same manner.  Failure to do so may result in the removal of any authentications, certifications, or approvals, and/or the exclusion from participation in any IAQG related activity.

As a holder of an IAQG authentication, certification, or approval, I agree to adhere to the following:

1. I will hold myself to the highest possible ethical standard and will conduct all business and personal activities with integrity.
2. I agree to follow all IAQG Authentication Rules, IAQG Certification Scheme requirements, and any applicable regulatory or statutory requirements.
3. I will handle proprietary, sensitive, and nonpublic data with care (protecting the data and not sharing it unless specifically authorized to do so) and only use it for its intended purpose as it relates to my activity.
4. I will avoid any actual or perceived conflicts of interest and will report any conflicts to IAQG Authentication using the IAQG Ethics Reporting Form.
5. I will only use IAQG materials (including standards, support material, etc.) that I am properly licensed to use.
6. I will act in a manner that promotes the improvement and integrity of the IAQG Certification Scheme and any association programs. I will report any known violations that would tarnish the reputation of the IAQG, any of its programs, any of its member organizations, or any of its key stakeholders.
7. I agree to apply all IAQG requirements in a fair and unbiased manner. This includes being truthful and accurate in all IAQG related activities.
